1.With what browsers AdIEFiltr works?-
AdIEFiltr works only with Internet Explorer 5.0 and later.
2.How do I block banners that use Marcomedia Flash?-
Create special webzone and ban ActiveX there. Use AdIEFiltr Tool Band to move the sites with flash ads to this webzone.
3.I’m prohibit POPUP’s , but they nevertheless displaying.-
Yes, some pop-up banners pass through AdIEFiltr. Webmasters use some hacks to show their pop-ups. It is hard to detect useful and advertisement pop-up windows automatically. It is better than AdIEFiltr will suppress useful pop-ups… However, AdIEFiltr suppresses most of pop-ups.
4.I installed AdIEFiltr, and while surfing the net noticed that I still see ads..-
AdIEFiltr works only with links that get to IE though HTTP. It is possible that the ad image you are seeing is in cache and therefore visible in IE. Click Refresh to fix this problem.
If AdIEFiltr does not automatically detect banners (some advertisers change the banner size to avoid detection), you can manually block the ad by adding the domain name from the ad link to ad servers list (this is a Mozilla-like feature).
5.I have disabled pop-up windows, but they are pop-upping anyway-
To Create new web zone and adds your site. Or enable POPUP’s in the existing Web zone (for example Trusted Sites).
6.When I right-click in Internet Explorer to show AdIEFiltr band, it has the name Radio.-
This is a known bug - see Knowledge Base article Q231621.
Actually, it has the name of the first tool band registered.
7.How I can move AdIEFiltr settings to the other computer?-
- To select main menu item File|Save As...
- Save settings to the XML file.
- Transfer it file to the other computer.
- There start AdIEFiltr and choice main menu item File| Save to Current User Setting
- Select main menu item File | Save to Current User Setting
8.Is AdIEFiltr a – proxy server?-
No. AdIEFiltr only plug-in for Internet Explorer.
9.How Internet Explorer’s version it require?-
Internet Explorer 5.0 and later.

No.Currently we have no plans for developing AdIEFiltr for other browsers.

No.AdIEFiltr – only addons for Internet Explorer.
