The main taks AdRegCln is doing - cleaning widndows system regisrty of needless entries, which slow down a lot of programs.

This way isn't the best, because instead of deleting the number of upper-level keys, only the one key is deleting. The misbelief is in supposing that the registry had been cleaned, but there is a lot of needless entries. The other registry cleaners are solving these problems an other way (i.e. Microsoft RegClean). They successfully check ActiveX entries (CLSID, TypeLib, ...), but don't care about other keys. And in addition to all said above there is another problem. How program can check CLSID-keys, that is unknown in the moment of it's development?

When deleting AdRegCln stores deleted keys in a .REG-file (REGEDIT-4 format) named with current date. To recover system registry - simply choose "Merge" from pop-up menu in Explorer.

You can turn off this path from knowbase.ini, and we would be grateful if you will inform us about this problem. Yes, AdRegCln in some cases can mark valid keys as incorrect, when they are used in not usual way.

Knowbase.ini is usual .ini-file, in which we tried to gather main search paths from system registry. AdRegCln checks system registry using them. Structure and format of knowbase.ini fairly described in AdRegCln's help. So, you can edit these pathes, delete some of them and append new yourself. We would be grateful, if you tell us about new of them, that you think can be included in standart AdRegCln pack.

To get new registration number you need to send an e-mail to us with your name and new registration number displayed in About box from main menu. If you are using AdRegCln on the same computer, you don't need to pay again. (Sorry for inconveniences with registration procedure)
